Translate a Whole Book, Ready for Human Review

Translate a book end to end and receive a package by email: editable Markdown and TXT, a bilingual review file, and a document-level quality report. The manuscript is processed as one document, so chapter order, recurring names, and terminology hold from the first page to the last. This is a review-ready deliverable for authors, publishers, and translators working on long books — not a claim that software replaces your editor. Confirm you hold the rights before translating someone else's book.

Built for manuscripts, not pasted chapters

Six things decide whether a full-book translation is usable, and this workflow is built around them.

Whole-book context

The manuscript is processed as one document in semantic windows with neighbouring context, never as disconnected sentences. Chapters keep their order, headings and scene breaks survive, and cross-references still point where they did in the source.

Names and terms that hold

Register character names, places, invented vocabulary, and recurring phrases once. A glossary is extracted from the book itself and applied to every chapter, so a protagonist does not quietly change name in the back half.

Bilingual review file

Each translated passage sits next to its source in one file, in reading order, so an editor can work through the book instead of hunting through a chat log. This is the artifact that makes a human pass affordable rather than a rewrite.

Quality report for the reviewer

An automated report flags omissions, drifted terminology, changed numbers, and broken structure, and records which checks actually ran for your language pair. It does not declare the book correct; it tells a reviewer where to look first.

Source and target of your choice

Set the language pair you actually need — English to Spanish, Chinese to English, French to German — with style notes applied before the task starts. The workflow is not tuned to one pair at the expense of the others.

Async email delivery

A full book runs for a long time, so the job never depends on a browser tab staying open. Submit the manuscript, close the laptop, and receive an email with signed download links when the package is ready.

How it works

Four steps from raw manuscript to a package you can review.

1

Upload the book

TXT, Markdown, or PDF up to 50 MB, or paste the text directly. Whole-book files are fine; nothing has to be split by hand first.

2

Set languages and terms

Choose the source and target languages, add style notes, and list the names and terms that must never drift. A short list of a dozen entries already helps.

3

Check the estimate and submit

The credit estimate is calculated from the real length of your file and shown before the task starts. Nothing is charged silently, and processing runs in the background.

4

Review what arrives

The email carries editable translation files, the bilingual review file, and the quality report. Read the report first, then edit with the pairing open beside you.

Translating a whole book — questions

Direct answers on process, cost, rights, quality, formats, and what happens when a task fails.

Turn the manuscript into something reviewable

Upload the book, check the credit estimate, and let the task run in the background. The package arrives by email: editable translation, a bilingual review file, and a quality report a real editor can use.
